If you are an internet marketer, you’ll know that time is gold.

There is so much to do but yet you’ll feel that you don’t have time to do it all. You know that you have to create sites, product, do promotion and do your works for clients but sometimes it can be very overwhelming.

Either you work for yourself or you are working for others, you need to be aware that time management is the key because if you are not careful with it you’ll be left behind and drowned in mountains of “to do list”. Always remember that your income level depends on your ability to be quick and effective in whatever you are doing.

These 3 steps in time management might be useful for you. I called it “T.P.E Methods”.

So what is TPE Method?

1) Think and do research

To jump straight into doing things might not be a wise decision. Spend sometimes to brainstorms and list your ideas. Always have a recorder or small notebook and pen to record your idea. This will help if you to record your ideas no matter where you are

2) Plan your day

After you had done your brainstorming, take a little time to think and plan your tasks. You might want to create “to do list” and prioritize which tasks are more important. Setting a timeframe for each task will definitely be helpful too.

2) Execute

Turn off your email, IM and stop browsing the internet aimlessly. Just sit and carry out the task in your “to do list”. Minimize disctraction so that you can concentrate on the task that you need to do

Hope that 3 tips is useful for you. Always remember one thing , use your time wisely because your internet marketing success depend on your ability to manage your time

Why is it important to have a sitemap?

A site map (or sitemap) is a list of pages of a website accessible to crawlers or users. It helps user to navigate your sites as it provides listing of pages available on your sites. It can also be structured to show by category and archives. Sitemap is important from SEO point of view. What I understood is  that it helps the search engine to crawls through your site.

So, why do you need a sitemap?

1) You need it for navigation purposes

A sitemap literally acts as a map of your site. If your sites is big with many pages, then having a sitemap is very usefel. If your visitors browses through your site and gets lost between the thousands of pages on your site, they can always refer to your sitemap to see where they are, and navigate through your pages with ease.

2) To Convey your site’s theme

When your visitors load up your sitemap, they will get the gist or essence of your site within a very short amount of time. There is no need to get the “big picture” of your site by reading through each page, and by doing that you will be saving your visitors’ time. That’s is why you might want to consider having your sitemap structured to show categorized sections of your pages.. It will definitely help your users and it will be more pleasing to their eyes

3) Site optimization purposes

When you create a sitemap, you are actually creating a single page which contains links to every single page on your site. Imagine what happens when search engine robots hit this page — they will follow the links on the sitemap and naturally every single page of your site gets indexed by search engines! It is also for this purpose that a link to the sitemap has to be placed prominently on the front page of your website. For a wordpress site, plugins such as Google Sitemap and Dagon Design Sitemap Generator will help you in the the sitemap creation and you I suggest you try it out

4) Organization and relevance

A sitemap enables you to have a complete bird’s eye view of your site structure, and whenever you need to add new content or new sections, you will be able to take the existing hierarchy into consideration just by glancing at the sitemap. As a result, you will have a perfectly organized site with everything sorted according to their relevance. A sitemap can be very simple but it can also be very complex. If you are really into it, you can even create a graphical or visual sitemap using tools such as paintshop, photoshops or mind mapping software.

Ok.. if you site is still lacking of sitemap, why not try to create one now? It will not only make you site more organized but also make it easily accessible to your visitor.

Have fun!

You should dream your life because impossible is just one word.

Have you ever dreamed of being somebody special?… somebody big? I think everyone will not escape this dream at some point of time in his or her life. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one leading a multimillion dollar business? Who hasn’t dreamed of being a champion? And one thing that everybody always dream of is being rich and successful.

We always have big dreams and have great planning of what we want to do with our ideas.

Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that – dreams and our great ideas just remain ideas in our head.

Actually this is very sad because God always give us lots of inspiration to do things. He entrusted us with great mind but often we did not utilize it because we just too caught up in our day to day live. The next thing we know somebody take that ideas and act on it and become successful. At that time we screamed hard .. he stole my ideas! That’s not fair.

Life can actually be so much better if only we learned to aim higher. We limit ourselves a lot by saying it’s impossible!

We get too hung up thinking “I can’t do this”, “It’s too hard”, “It’s too impossible”

Come to think of it, not eveybody actually think that way. Because if it is true, then we will not see those great inventions and there will be no breakthrough. We will not see improvement in our daily lives.

God give us mind to think. But sometimes we only use a little bit of it. The rest of it is wasted on a lot of things rubbish.

Did you ever observed how the butterfly evolves? Does anybody teach it to fly? No. But fly it does.

Many people suffers from dream disillusion and does not do anything to make their dream a reality. Yet, they are the one who touted their ideas are the best but there are no resultsto show…Why? Because the ideas are just ideas.. they did not turn it into goals. They did not even attempt on it but keep on saying it’s impossible. So, what do they get in return? Shatterred dream and broken hopes.

Do not limit yourself with self-doubt and self-limiting assumption because you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you dream too high and get too caught up in it without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Put down your goal into a piece of paper and list down what you should do to achieve. Stick it somewhere that is easy for you to see. It is not to stressed you out but more like reminding you of your goal… your dream If your dream is too high and take longer to achieve, why not start with something small and reward yourself each time you are moving towards your goal. I call this achieving low hanging fruits. We are human and this continuous achievement can help us fuel our ambition.

At least we have results to show to ourselves that we have made progres…

The more you do this you’ll find that you are moving closer towards your goal and you can feel that it is not impossible to reach it. You have started to programmed the impossible to become possible. Though your imagination and dream can sometimes run very wild. I suggest you do not set yourself with unrealistic ambition. You’ll thank yourself for this.

Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? That is as true as it can be. Sometime you can do things that you never know you are capable of when you are pushed out of your comfort zone. Then you’ll say to yourself. I cannot beleive that I can actually do that but I did. It’s amazing isn’t it?

So dream on! Don’t limit yourself. Think big and work hard to achieve your dreams. You will soon realize that impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Why you should create your own product?

I always beleive that internet marketer should consider creating their own product to sells if they have the resources to do so. It does require more effort, some initial monetary outlay, and time, but it can be really worth it for their long-term internet marketing business.

Here are a 5 good reasons why you should create your own products:

1) You’ll have more control over what can be done with the product

It is yours an you can do whatever you want with it.  Your product is your Virtual Real Estate. You can sell a bunch now and use it as a bonus to another product later – especially as a bonus to a big launch product that some guru is doing and you’re an affiliate for. You can sell it at a special sale price when you want to make some extra money for your next vacation, bundle it with another of your products for a BOGO (Buy one get one free), and even further down the line you can offer it as a freebie in a Giveaway to further build your list and spread good will

2) You’ll have more control over the price of the product

When you’re dealing with your own product, you and you alone set the price. Of course, you want to go with what the market will bear and not price it ridiculously high.  But you also don’t need to go totally cheap either. Sometimes cheap can backfire if people equate cheap price with cheap product.  Better yet, test it at different price points and pick the price that converts the best.

3) You can make more money with your own product

Yes, you can make more money from your own creation because you can make 100% of the profits if you choose.  Even if you have affiliates, you’ll still make money because your sales team, your affiliates, will do much of the marketing and selling for you – and take their cut.

4) It add to your branding

If you look at the whole picture, by creating your own product you have become ‘the expert’.  This means you’re branding yourself, becoming well-known in your field, and ultimately selling more of this product as well as other products you produce

5) You control the content

In short, you are the boss of what’s inside the product.  When you sell someone else’s product as an affiliate, you might not agree with all that’s being preached in the contents.  Plus it just might not be your style.  Sometimes you come across an affiliate product you’re just itching to change and it will drive you nuts because you can’t do a thing about it.

These are only some of the reasons to create your own product. There are other things that you can do as well. For example, you can even put your affiliate link in it and this definitely can be your potential source of income. Wouldn’t it be nice :)

Creating your own product doesn’t have to be from scratch though.  You can start with a big hunk of clay – PLR – and mold it into a piece of art worthy of putting your name on it.  You can even outsource it to ghostwriter and get somebody to do the cover and the sites for a fee. It all depends on your budget but the important takeaway is to start laying the path for your own product creation.

So, what kind of product that you can create? If you are new, a $7 report could be a good start. You can also do interview with experts in the field that you are interested in, create audio, video and transcript and sell it at competitive price… So, are you up for it?

I finally make a move  to register my business today, after 3 months online :)

I went to the business registration booth in Bayan Baru to get mine done and it is a breeze .. everything were completed in less than one hour. It helps that I had doubled checked the business name that I want yesterday and try to fill in the the sample form before I went to see the officer. It speeds up a lot of things. I paid RM70 to get the registration done and got the ‘business certificate’ on the spot.

Since my business is basically sole ownership, it is very easy to do…and I recommend you register your business as well.

For those in Malaysia that would like to register their internet business (sole owner), this steps might be useful to you. You can always refer to SSM website for latest information. You can register online at e-lodgement or go to the SSM office nearby. I suggest you go to the SSM branch office or their mobile office, it is very fast. If you do it online, there will be back and forth processes – if you can stand it then it’ll be fine.. but since I want to get it done quickly…so I go to the mobile office … for those folk in Penang, it is located in Bilik Mesyuarat 1, Level 2, Pasar Bayan Baru, near Sunshine Square. Call the Penang SSM office first to find out what day of the month the mobile office will be open.

1) Go to SSM website and download the sample form. You’ll need the sample PNA.42 and A forms. PNA.42 Form is for the business name that you want to apply and Form A is for the registration itself .. where you put your address and personal detail etc. The link to the sample forms are below:

http://www.ssm.com.my/perkhidmatan_borang.php

2) In PNA.42, you will be asked to fill in business name that you’d like to apply. You were given three choices to fill in and the top one will get priority .. I advise that you check if your chosen name is still available before you go there. You may use “SSM carian nama’ . You’ll have to register to use the service and the the details will be sent to your email by the system after you register.  After you’d checked your chosen business name and confirmed that it is available (please check for all three names…) then it’s time to start filling in the sample form.

In PNA.42 you have to summarize the nature of your business, what your business do etc …please do not mix Malays and English when filling any of the forms.. it will get rejected. Ensure that your business description matched your business name, else it will not be accepted and you’ll have to fill in new form. I think there will be exception if you choose to register your own name as your business name..

3) Now, fill in the information needed for Form A. You don’t need to put the business code, just list down the business that you intend to do. I think the Form A is pretty easy to fill.

With these two forms filled, then you are ready to fill in the real form at the SSM office. You’d be suprised that a lot of people stucked at choosing their own business name and also filling in the portion describing their business nature.. please use easy to understand term so that you’d not need to explain yourself to the officer about what your business do. Some of the officers are veteran people so they might ask you lots of questions if they don’t undestand your terms.. Try to list as much as you can, because once the business is registered, you’ll need to pay to get additional description entered for your business.

OK folks, that should be easy enough to do. Though it might not guarantee the one hour.. it will help speed up the whole process in filling in the forms and dealing with the officer. So, go and get your business registered .. a little tip, go early to avoid the crowd :)
