Catching the Spirit of Entrepreneur Easier Said Than Done

In March last year, something happened that made me realized that my day to day job is not the only thing that I wanted to do in my life. Enough is enough and I want to explore new things. So, I start looking for other opportunity to earn extra income and I’m so glad I took that step.

The first thing that I do was selling physical products to my friends. It soon becomes apparent that I need to reach out to more people so I use internet as my sale channel. At first, I have no ideas how to even use it to sell stuffs but Google ™ has become my best friend. Anything that I don’t know, I googled it and I learn a lot of new things along the way. There are a lot of trials and errors but things get easier the more I do it. I still have those sites but have scale down to focus on other things. I even get my sisters to help me managed the sites.

Becoming entrepreneur and grabbing opportunities with open arms is often easier said than done

When I started out, I have many people telling me how good it is to become entrepreneur and have my own business and how they also dream of becoming rich doing it. Fast forward to this day, I still hear the same people singing the same tune but not moving anywhere. They just said it but never really take actions and do something about it. I know they have better knowledge and skills than me but they are just not using them.

This makes me realize that knowledge and skills alone are not enough if you don’t take action that will bring you closer to your dream. Combined that with procrastination and the fear of ‘what if’, the ideas will never realized and become a reality.

Do I become rich in one year?

No, not yet. But I’m moving closer to it with each action that I take. I started out with no skills and very limited knowledge but I gained more experienced and results by taking actions. Things such as setting up blogs, hosting and autoresponders used to take me very long to complete with lots of trial and errors but they rank ‘easy’ now, after doing them a few times.

Take action that bring you closer to your dream

Take action that bring you closer to your dream

If I let the ‘what if’ syndrome paralyzed me, then I think I’ll over analyze the situation and those things will never get me off the ground.

Do you want to become an entrepreneur and start your own business but are afraid of things go wrong?

There are millions of things that could go wrong but similarly there are many things that can go right too!

There is no doubt that fear can be paralyzing. In particular, when starting a business, you might be thinking or waiting for the right time. There will never be a perfect time. It’s now or never when it comes to starting your own business. Time will not wait for you.

Remember that taking action is important. But what is more important is to make sure that the actions that you take bring you closer to your target. Do what need to be done to start your business.

Don’t wait for that ‘perfect someday’. Make an imperfect start and just get moving. So, start taking action today :)
