How to Promote a Blog Post

Part of the 31DBB task is to promote a blog post. This get me scratching my head because I never really promote mine and I’m a bit shy in doing so. Anyway, I beleive that one of the easier way to promote a post is via social bookmarking site such as digg, stumble etc.

If you have a lot of twitter followers, you could use it to promote your post. “Tweet This’ plugin can help you achieve it. When I try to install it on my site, somehow it was not working and I think it was due to conflict with other plugins. After a few tries, it finally worked..

I forgot to mention that  having ‘sociable’ plugin will also be useful because readers will be able to click on the icons listed to share your post icon smile How to Promote a Blog Post

Darren from Probllogger wrote a nice article abt this and I found that ‘pitching other bloggers’ is the hardest one to do…. I’ll stick to social bookmarking at the moment and use tweeter update to promote my post.
